Topic: “How to take care of your wooden furniture and know the different types of wood”

For the first time, Eden Galerie shared its knowledge on wood with antique furniture owners and collectors. The talk was conducted by our own in-house master who has many years of experience specializing in restoration and repair of all types of wooden furniture.
During the class, participants were introduced to the different types of wood commonly used in reproduction of antique Chinese furniture and taught how to identify their characteristics. The master also shared some tips on how to take care of their valuable pieces.
It was an informative workshop that lasted 2 hours! Refreshments were served after that.

Our expert will be giving a demonstration on the following types of repair:
- restain wood colour
- amend dents
- fill up holes
- touch up scratches
